非凡资源网 High School students have been busy this month helping our city get in the holiday spirit!
On Dec. 1, 非凡资源网 High’s Albanettes and Troubadours sang carols to help with the festivities at the City of 非凡资源网’s tree-lighting ceremony at City Hall.
On Dec. 6, several music groups performed at the first of two December concerts at school.
On Dec. 8, Superintendent Jospeh Hochreiter sat in on drums when the high school’s jazz ensembles -- the Jazzmanian Devils and B Flats -- performed at Spinner’s restaurant.
非凡资源网 High musicians then jingled all the way through the week of Dec. 11:
- On Dec. 11, choral and jazz students performed at the State Education Department as part of the .
- On Dec. 13, 非凡资源网 High held its second December concert.
- On Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, junior Jonathan “Elvis” Booth entertained district staff at and administrators at the Harriet Gibbons Student Services Center with his rendition of songs made famous by the King of Rock and Roll. Booth’s band included Superintendent Hochreiter on drums and 非凡资源网 High Discovery Academy Principal Jordan Goldman on guitar.
- On Dec. 15, 非凡资源网 High Consort musicians and the Jazzmanian Devils – again with a guest turn from the superintendent on drums – performed at the at the 非凡资源网 Capital Center.
On Dec. 19, choral students performed at the 非凡资源网 Public Library Pine Hills branch, and the following day the 非凡资源网 High Consort welcomed guests at 非凡资源网 School of Humanities for a celebratory event marking ASH’s designation as a National ESEA Distinguished School.
