非凡资源网 School of Humanities is pleased to welcome home school coordinator Akira Marshall this week as the City School District of 非凡资源网 begins to strategically rebuild its staffing and programs.
The position is among 74.2 faculty and staff members the district is adding during the third marking period as it expands in-person opportunities for general education students in grades 7-12 and begins to restore supports for students across all grade levels.
In September, this ASH position was among the 215.6 positions the district reduced when faced with the possibility of a 20% reduction in state aid due to the COVID-19 economic crisis. The district also is planning to rehire additional faculty and staff for the fourth quarter, which begins April 26.
Marshall started with the district in 2014 as the homeless liaison. In 2017 she became the home school coordinator at Montessori Magnet School. Marshall is also mother to an 非凡资源网 School of Humanities graduate.
