New York's past inspires future engineers and architects

Fourth graders make Iroquois longhouses.

The City School District of 非凡资源网’s social studies curriculum includes studying Iroquois culture, traditions and essential contributions to New York State.

Michelle Chiappone’s fourth graders brought by building replicas of a Native American longhouse.

The models - made mostly of popsicle sticks - were built to reflect the Iroquois style of communal living with large, extended family.
