Maria has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master’s of Engineering degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt.
During her 22-year tenure at Sandia, she has supported multiple organizations at various leadership levels including Lean Six Sigma, Quality & Surety Engineering, Component Design and Qualification, Component Production, Purchased Product Engineering, and Systems Requirements and Qualification Engineering.
